About Us

We – doc4pets – are an owner-operated group of small animal practices with locations in southwestern Germany. With over 20 veterinary specialists and veterinarians, and a total of over 60 employees, we have increasingly received requests for comprehensive preventative care plans and pet insurance.

Up until now, we have never been truly convinced by a product, as something was always missing and the German market is/was a developing country in the field of pet insurance compared to England or the Scandinavian countries.

Initially, we had found a good insurance provider through our partner Smart Paws (originally from Great Britain – founded by one of the country's largest clinics, and the pet insurance was developed by and with veterinarians). Unfortunately, they were sold some time ago, and the new owner's products no longer convince us as much as they once did.

That's why we decided to now work with a neutral real estate agent (dogvers.deto work together with a company that provides a good pet insurance comparison. This ensures you get the optimal product tailored to your individual needs.
